Career Management

Career management which helps students to prepare for career selection. The course is designed for the improvement of workforce skills required in every career including:

  • Leadership
  • Communication
  • Teamwork
  • Problem solving
  • Decision making
  • Time management.
  • Goal setting

Students complete activities that assist in the identification of personal interests, learning styles and aptitudes. Students will utilize self-assessment results to determine careers that may prove personally satisfying. Students will complete an in-depth career research activity that they may repeat for every future career decision. Students will also create a career portfolio as they work through the curriculum. In addition to the default course program, Career Management includes alternate projects, lessons and tests for utilization in the enhancement of instruction or to address individual needs.
